As the 2016 Royal Highland Show gets underway, a wee reminder to passengers planning on flying between 23-26 June to be prepared and allow extra time to get to Edinburgh airport.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to visit the showground which means roads around the airport will be much busier than usual.
Along with an ongoing rail strike traffic around the airport as well as getting to the airport will take a little longer than normal
For passengers coming from beyond Edinburgh be prepared to add on a couple of hours before your check-in time.
For passengers in Edinburgh and surrounding areas we advise using the Citylink bus & tram service from Waverley or Haymarket.
