Many thanks for my beautiful bag to celebrate your 50 years along with the fantastic book
This was my first visit to the British Virgin Islands and I’ve been very impressed with the hotels I’ve visited and the genuine hospitality and friendliness of everyone I’ve met along the way – from housekeepers to beach attendants and General Managers – it has been a superb experience and I’m sure I will be back !
I’m currently at Little Dix Bay where there is something for everyone – from chilling out at the beach, visiting the Spa, to many complimentary watersports, hiking trails, using the fitness centre and tennis courts.
A lot of the activities are based around the water. You can snorkel in the shallow waters and see turtles, scuba diving trips are available along with fishing charters and glass bottom boat tours.
The resort runs along 1/2 a mile of beautiful golden sands and there are several secluded beaches nearby. The resorts fleet of Boston Whalers is available to drop you off and pick you up.
Keep posted as I’ll be offering some special offers tomorrow !
Thanks very much for the warm welcome from Nicole and Dwight at Rosewood Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda.
I’ve been completely spoilt and am staying in one of the newly renovated tree houses which is stunning.
As is the norm the Rosewood attention to detail is fantastic
I spent a night recently at The Inn at English Harbour in Antigua and what a fantastic experience it was.
One of the Caribbean’s luxury resorts and exclusive Antigua boutique resort on a beach side five star location in English Harbour, it offers luxury accommodation for the discerning traveler seeking privacy and seclusion in a contemporary setting.
You can unwind in a hammock on the beach, or enjoy free activities including the fitness centre, pool, tennis, kayaking or snorkeling.
Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort was inspired by Charles Telfair a famous naturalist who lived in the 19th century in the Bel Ombré Sugar Estate.
He was best known for his innovative work in the sugar cane industry and tracking down many indigenous plants which his wife Anabella then painted in watercolours.
There is a fantastic golf course – Le Golf du Chateau set in historic cane fields, an unspoilt lagoon with lots of different water sports on offer, the Seven Colours Spa and the Frederica nature reserve where you can go quad biking and swim in waterfalls.
Or you can just chill out and relax at a pool, on the beach or at the C Beach Club.
