The Travel Architect arrives in India

This is my first visit to India and I am part of a group of 8 travel consultants taking in the sights and sounds of the Golden Triangle Tour with If Only Holidays.

After an 8 hour flight with British Airways in club world we arrived at Delhi airport. A swift meet and greet service and we were soon on our way to the beautiful Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi courtesy of Trans World Experiences. We are privileged to have Vivek Angra, the UK President from TWX travelling with us on our trip taking care of all our ground arrangements.

The Leela Palace Hotel was built 3 years ago on the most expensive piece of real estate in the world. This is the first time I gave stayed in a Leela property and the level of service and attention to detail in the hotel is outstanding.

There is a beautiful temperature controlled rooftop pool where you can chill out and relax after sightseeing or shopping to recharge your batteries.

If Only and Silversea Dinner

Last night I was invited by Iain from If Only Holidays and Amanda from Silversea to a dinner with select agents in Glasgow.

As usual the food and company was fantastic and it was great to learn some news about the fantastic offers If Only have in conjunction with Silversea.

Silversea still have some offers for May which take in Cannes and Monte Carlo – imagine watching the Grand Prix from the sea !

I’ll be posting some more offers in the next day or so which include Thailand,Vietnam,Hong Kong Myanmar for later on this year and 2015
