I had a lovely lunch recently at Oil Nut Bay at the Beach Club and restaurant where they have a superb Al Forno pizza oven.
It’s an open air dining experience serving contemporary Caribbean cuisine as well.
Private dining options are also available along with picnic baskets should you wish to go off sailing or to other beaches for the day.
There is a selection of accommodation types on Oil Nut Bay ranging from 2 – 6 bedroomed villas and 2 different types of one bedroomed suites.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see the penthouse cliff suite as it was occupied. It is perched on the rocky cliffs overlooking the Caribbean with dramatic views.

This was my first visit to the British Virgin Islands and I’ve been very impressed with the hotels I’ve visited and the genuine hospitality and friendliness of everyone I’ve met along the way – from housekeepers to beach attendants and General Managers – it has been a superb experience and I’m sure I will be back !
I’m currently at Little Dix Bay where there is something for everyone – from chilling out at the beach, visiting the Spa, to many complimentary watersports, hiking trails, using the fitness centre and tennis courts.
A lot of the activities are based around the water. You can snorkel in the shallow waters and see turtles, scuba diving trips are available along with fishing charters and glass bottom boat tours.
The resort runs along 1/2 a mile of beautiful golden sands and there are several secluded beaches nearby. The resorts fleet of Boston Whalers is available to drop you off and pick you up.
Keep posted as I’ll be offering some special offers tomorrow !
The gardens at Little Dix Bay are immaculate and twice a week a guided walk is conducted by the resident horticulturist.
